Mrs. Alice Marie Thompson, 76, of Seymour, passed away Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at Schneck Medical Center. She was born in Indianapolis to the late Oscar and Georgia (Clark) Lane.
Funeral services will be at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Saturday, September 28 at 10:30 am with Rev. Robert Davis officiating. Burial will follow at Crothersville Cemetery.
Family and friends may call at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Friday from 4-8 pm and Saturday from 9:30 am until time of service.
On November 21, 1998, she married John “Johnny” Thompson; he survives. She retired from Lichter Rubber after 25 years of service. She enjoyed painting, going for walks, mushroom hunting and camping. She loved spending time with her family.
Alice is survived by her husband; children, Billy Jo (Jeri) Stout, Tammy (Ronnie) Anderson, Richard Earl Stout, Larry (Becky) Newby; stepchildren, Robin Stout, Marie Britton, Debbie Smith, Darla Smith, Tony Thompson, Teresa Thompson, Raymond Thompson; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well as special friend, Joann Stout-Roberts.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Robert Lane, Ricky Lane.
Memorials may be written to American Diabetes Association or American Lung Association, in care of Voss & Sons Funeral Service.
