Amy Catherine Mills, 77, of Seymour, passed away on Saturday, December 12, 2020.
She was born in 1943 to William and Zylphia (Tipton) Philpot. On November 13, 1959 she married Ed Mills.
Amy is survived by her children, Jim (Nancy) Mills, Mike (Alisa) Mills and Ruby (Tony) Gilbert, along with 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Charles Philpot and sisters, Opal Hensley and Joyce Whicker.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Jimmy, H.B., and George Philpot, her sister, Carol Sue Pendleton, and sons, William Leonard Mills and Jeffery Ray Mills.
Amy was a member of the Pleasant Run Baptist Church in Manchester, Kentucky. A big UK fan and enjoyed watching them win. She retired after many years of service in 2008 from the Covered Bridge Health Care Campus. She was active in many organizations including being the past Maiden President of the Eagles Ladies Auxiliary, and Past Senior Regent of the Moose Lodge. An avid reader and enjoyed gardening with her husband. She always enjoyed family and friends stopping by to buy their home-grown tomatoes from them over the years.

Family and friends are invited to a walk-through visitation at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Wednesday, December 16 from 1 to 2:30. The funeral service will be private.

In accordance with CDC guidelines, masks are required before admittance to the funeral home as well as social distancing within the building. We kindly ask that there be no physical contact such as hugs or handshakes to protect staff and the family. Attendance is limited to 25 people at any given time.
