Austin David Fish, 20, of Medora, passed away on Saturday, August 19, 2017. He was born on April 15, 1997, in Seymour, to Judd Fish and Amy (Carmichael) Blair. He was a member of Brownstown Christian Church. He was employed by Plumer Hay Farms, in Cortland, where he had worked since age 13. He was a graduate of Medora High School, class of 2015. He enjoyed working, hunting, fishing, golfing, basketball, showing cattle, and in his early years, baseball and football. He also enjoyed riding and working on dirt bikes with his best friend Dillan. He was a giving young man who would see a problem, and fix it without having to be asked.
He is survived by his father, Judd David (Tracy) Fish and his mother, Amy Lynn Carmichael (Steve) Blair; brothers, Bryant Carmichael (Bridgett), JD Fish, and Chris (Samantha) Naylor; sisters, Amanda Naylor, Amber Naylor, Brittany Naylor, and Brandi (Jason) Keith; maternal grandparents, Gary (Peggy) Carmichael; paternal grandparents, Rick (Diane) Fish; maternal step grandparents, Jeanie (Larry) Smallwood; paternal grandparents, Patricia King and Monte King; maternal great grandparent, Margaret Carmichael; paternal great grandparents, Maxine Fish and Buck Mellencamp; several cousins, aunts and uncles, and nephew, Braxton Scott Carmichael.
He is preceded in death by his maternal step grandfather, Tim Blair; and cousin, Todd Schurman.
Funeral services will be at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Thursday, August 24, at 10:30 am with Br. Dick Clampitt officiating. Burial will follow at Weddleville Cemetery in Medora.
Family and friends may call at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Wednesday, August 23, from 3-8 pm and on Thursday, from 9 am until time of service.
