Barbara A. Brooks, 89, of Seymour, Indiana passed away on April 18, 2022. She was born in 1932 to the late Harry and Grace Taylor. On July 19, 1952, she married the love of her life, Gaylord Wayne Brooks.
Barbara enjoyed making dolls, gardening, playing softball and bowling. She also loved animals and especially dogs.
She is survived by her husband; Gaylord Brooks, her daughters; Debra Brooks and Karen Brooks.
She is preceded in death by her parents; Harry Taylor and Grace Taylor Terrell, and all eight of her siblings.
Visitation will be held on Friday April 22, 2022, from 11am to the time of service at 1pm at Voss and Sons Funeral Service. Burial will follow the service to Riverview Cemetery.
Family requests memorial contributions be made to Humane Society of Jackson County or the American Heart Association in care of Voss and Sons Funeral Service.
