Barbara Darkis 60, of Seymour, Indiana passed away on Saturday August 6, 2022, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on September 25, 1961, to the late Curtis and Nannie Ford Cross.
She married Andy Lee Darkis in Easyville on February 28, 1981, and he survives.
Barbara enjoyed gardening, loved animals especially her dog Pepper. Most of all she enjoyed being with her family.
Barbara is survived by her husband Andy Darkis, daughter Jennifer Darkis, two brothers: Billy (Verna) Cross and Tony (Donna) Cross, and one sister Linda Poore.
She was preceded in death by her parents Curtis and Nannie Ford Cross.
Private graveside services will be held at a later date.
Family requests memorials be made to the Jackson County Humane Society 1109 W Avenue G, Seymour, Indiana 47274.
