Mrs. Barbara J. Tracy, 80, of Seymour, passed away Saturday, May 8, 2021. She was born in North Vernon the daughter of the late Frank Morgan and Juanita Mars Morgan.

On November 2, 1957, Barbara married Lester O. Tracy. She was a graduate of North Vernon High School, class of 1958. She owned Chalet Floral Gift Shop in the 1970’s and most recently Cafe Batar. Barbara was a founding member of Railroad Days Festival in North Vernon. She was a licensed pilot, artist, and loved cooking, traveling and gardening.

Barbara is survived by her husband of 63 years, Lester; daughters, Trina Tracy (Nada Fowler), Tammy VonDielingen (Dale), and son, Dick Tracy (Ken Sashko); granddaughters, Morgan Pyle (Adam) and Jordan Spieker (Mark); four great grandchildren; sisters, Pat Sullivan, Mary Lindley (Earl) and brother, Roger Morgan (Sharon).

Private funeral services will be conducted by Voss & Sons Funeral Service. A Celebration of Life Open House for family and friends will be held at Muscatatuck Hall at Batar on Sunday, May 16 from 1:00 to 5:00 pm.

Memorials may be written to Don & Dana Meyers Cancer Center, National Kidney Foundation, American Diabetes Association or charity of choice, in care of Voss & Sons Funeral Service.
