What a gift from above Berl was to all who knew him. I truly never met anyone who was as giving and caring as he. I came to know Berl from the Freeman Field Flying Association, and he always went out of his way to share his love of aviation with others, especially young people. He helped me numerous times with giving rides to young people. If I ever needed his help, he could always be counted on. He will always be missed at Freeman Field, where he dedicated so much of his time. I know he is now flying high in the wings of our Lord. Prayers of condolences to all who share in the loss of this wonderful man. Jan Sipes

I have so many great memories of growing up when he was still in High School and College living on North Street with Grandpa and Theresa. Playing games, him taking me to the movies, etc. It was a great time in my life and he was a great part of it. I'm glad we got to see him last Chirstmas when he was doing pretty well. You have our deepest sympathies. Jeff and Familly

Condolences to Zach and the entire family. I met Berl back in 2009 and asked him how young Zach was when he got interested in aviation. Berl said he was two and they figured he would grow out of it. Berl was a fine gentleman. He will be missed.

Bucky and Bridget were married in my house. The room was built on to her family home just for the wedding. Too many wonderful memories to put into words. This is a very difficult time for family and friends. Love and prayers to all. Sharon and Richard
