Bertha Christina Marion

Bertha Gagen Marion, 90 of Seymour, Indiana, passed away Monday, July 20, 2015, at the Lutheran Community Home.

She was born December 22, 1924, in Scott County, Indiana. She was the daughter of the late Walter and Stella Conry McQuilling.

In 1943, she married Joe Gagen who preceded her in death in 1984. She married Wheeler Marion who preceded her on January 29, 2012.

Mrs. Marion was a member of Uniontown Baptist Church. She was a graduate of Crothersville High School Class of 1942. Mrs. Marion was a homemaker who liked being outside working with flowers, and doing crossword puzzles.

She is survived by her nephews, Gary Rutherford, Tony Rutherford, and Billy McClellen.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her two husbands, her brother, Willie McQuilling, and sisters, Mae Beavers, Naomi McClellen, Mildred Rutherford, Juanita Broady and Mary Smith

Funeral service will be at Voss Chapel on Thursday, July 23, 2015, at 10:00 am with Rev. Roger Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Uniontown Cemetery.

Friends and family may call at Voss Chapel Wednesday from 4 to 8 pm and Thursday after 9:00 am until time of service.
