Beverly Ann Ball, 62, of Seymour, passed away at 11:55a.m. Saturday, June 29, 2019 at Schneck Medical Center, Seymour surrounded by her family.
She was born on September 15, 1956, in Hammond, IN, the daughter of John D Fisher and Mildred Root. She married Ernie Ball on February 24, 1978 and celebrated 41 years of marriage.
Bev was hardworking and had amazing strength. She was employed at Valeo for 18 years and Schneck Medical Center for the past 10 years. She enjoyed bowling , swimming, reading, gardening, and flowers. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her grandchildren. They were the love of her life, holding a special place in her heart, and she will forever be their Mamaw.
Survivors include her spouse, Ernie Ball; daughter, Jessica(Todd) Heckman; step sons, Andy Ball, Brad Ball; brothers and sisters; Juanita(John) Gonzalez, John Fisher, Clarice(Sandy) Pate, Eddie(Sharon) Fisher, Robert(Julie) Fisher, Valarie Pruitt, Joy(Dan) Hoffman, Regina(David) Kilty, Janice Houlihan, David Fisher; grandchildren, Hunter and Haley Heckman , Jacob Ball, Jared(Brittney) Ball, Ashley(Brandon) Ramirez, Erica(Austin) Jordan, Sarah Cravens, Lindsey(Geoffrey) Revalee, Bridgett Ball,; and many great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and step son, John Ball.
Funeral services will be held at 1pm at Voss and Sons Funeral Home with Reverend Steve Greene officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8pm on Tuesday and Wednesday after 12pm until time of service.
Grateful for the excellent care provided by Schneck along with the love & support of friends and coworkers, memorial contributions may be given to Schneck Medical Center Foundation, or Schneck Medical Center Hospice.

Dear Ernie, Jessica, Todd, Hunter, and Hailey, Your mom was such a wonderful friend and neighbor. Many an evening we walked around our yards together and looked at flowers. We shared flower starts, garden produce, and talks on the porch swing. Your mom was so generous to us. We were always welcome to swim in the pool. When I was going to a work-related pitch-in, your mom volunteered to make her delicious peach cobbler so I didn't have to cook when I had two small kids. When Emily was in preschool and my mom couldn't go with her to build a Gingerbread house, she asked Bev to go as her grandma. I thought that was the biggest compliment anyone could receive - gaining the love of a child - Bev was the first person who came to her mind at 4 years old. Yes, we all loved your mom and hold our years on Madden Hill as very special thanks to you all as our neighbors. Life is unfair. But, we have been blessed to have Bev and your family in our lives. I am so sorry to hear of the loss of this wonderful lady. I had the pleasure of working with Bev for many years at Valeo. Bev was one of those few people that loved life and lived it fully. I could always count on her to put a smile on my face or raise my spirits if I were down. I was her quality inspector and can say she was an exceptional inspector. She did her job and did it 110%. Bev took no guff from anyone , yet was always ready to help others. She will be missed. I can only say I wish I had stayed in closer contact after she retired. She was on extraordinary lady.
