Brian Murphy, 55, of Columbus, passed away on Sunday, November 11, 2018 at his residence. He was born in Seymour on October 9, 1963 to the late Billy L. and Doris (Henderson) Murphy.
Funeral services will be at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Sunday, November 18 at 2 pm with Pastor Craig Muhlbach officiating. Burial will follow at Uniontown Cemetery.
Family and friends may call at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Saturday from 3-7 pm and Sunday from 1 pm until time of service.
He was of the Christian faith. He was a graduate of Crothersville High School; class of 1981. He had been employed at Cummins in Columbus for 14 years as a supervisor. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved more than anything to spend time with his children and granddaughters.
He is survived by his children, Brian Michael (Rebecca) Murphy, Randall Patrick (Chelsea) Murphy, Taylor Rae Murphy and Aryn Jolie Murphy; granddaughters, Madilyn Murphy and Kylee Murphy; brothers, Steve (Susan) Murphy, Charlie (Danielle) Murphy and James (Lynn) Murphy; sister, Diane (Denver) Hackman; as well as several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Memorials may be written to American heart Association, in care of Voss & Sons Funeral Service.
