Carolyn J Stradley, 94, of Seymour, Indiana, passed away June 1, 2022, at her residence. In 1928, she was born in Seymour, Indiana to the late Hobart and Catherine Lucas. On May 14, 1928, she married the love of her life, the late Ervin “Dyke” Stradley.

Carolyn was a member of Rockford United Methodist Church, Seymour. She graduated from Shields High School in 1946 and went to Indiana Business College in Indianapolis. After college she went to work at Eli Lily until she married her husband, Ervin “Dyke”.  She enjoyed playing golf, gardening, flowers, birds and playing bridge.

She is survived by her children; Stan (Teresa) Stradley, Dr. Steve (Mary) Stradley, her grandchildren; Keith (Chrissie) Stradley, Kelly (J.B.) Royer, Dr. Katy (Sheri) Stradley, and Paige Stradley, and her six great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband; Ervin “Dyke” Stradley, her parents; Hobart and Catherine Lucas, her brothers; Robert Lucas, infant Hobart Lucas, Jr., Julius Lucas, and Donald Lucas

Visitation will be held on Saturday June 4, 2022, from 1 pm until the time of service at 2 pm at Voss and Sons Funeral Service. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery,
