Mr. Charles Randal “Randy” Burden, 66, of Seymour, passed away on September 30, 2018 at home with his wife by his side. He was born in Seymour on November 20, 1951 to Charles F. Burden and Shirley (Bishop) Hochstetler.
Funeral services will be conducted by Voss & Sons Funeral Service at Calvary Baptist Church on Friday, October 5 at 11 am with Rev. Dan DeFriece officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery.

Randy was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. He loved retirement. He had worked for Cummins and Freeman Field Maintenance. He had a very low key sense of humor. He was an avid sports fan of NASCAR, baseball and basketball; but his favorite was football and he always looked forward to the new season. Randy never met a stranger, was a kidder and joker and was known for talking with his facial expressions. He loved rebuilding and riding Harley Davidson motorcycles.
He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Rhonda Burden; mother and stepfather, Shirley (Al) Hochstetler; sister, Janet (Jason) Davis; aunts, Betty Jo Fowler and Wilma Collins; nieces, Courtney (Zack) Schaffer, Kelsey Deaton, Tiffany (Chris) Thurston and Briana Henry; nephews, Jordan Henry, Tyler (Macy) Gray, Josh York and Justin York; great nieces, Brooklynde Stagnolia, Paisleigh Thurston and Presleigh Thurston; great nephew, Jayden York; sisters-in-law, Terri Henry, Star (David) Gray and Bonnie Lowe; and cousins dear to him, Liz and Joe Young.
He is preceded in death by his father; grandparents; father and mother-in-law, Paul and Betty Burton; brother-in-law, Jeff Henry; and several aunts.
Memorials may be written to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana or Calvary Baptist Church, in care of Voss & Sons Funeral Service.
