I am so very sorry to hear of Del's passing. He was a wonderful, gentle man. He even went so far once as to dumpster dive at Home Depit to find the perfect piece of cardboard for my youngest son to make a fake guillotine blade for a 6th grade project years ago. Yes, strange project, but he left a wonderful impression on a young man.

Irene. This is Sherri Fritz. I just saw Del’s passing in the Tribune this morning. I send my love, thoughts and prayers to you. I share such great memories of working with you at the phone company and also had the pleasure of getting to know Del too. You both were lively personalities on your own, but together you were just a fun, loving, happy couple. I am so glad I’ve had the opportunity to know you both. I remember years ago seeing Del when he was working at Home Depot. I hadn’t seen either one of you in years, but he was the same friendly, happy Del. Love you friend and praying God’s comfort .

Jim knew Del through Masons and I met both Del and Irene through Star. Jim spent time with them as he helped with garage doors and other things and they shared many laughs. We were blessed to visit with them at the Masonic home in February. I am sorry for your loss. Janice Brock
