Clona Edna Marsh 89, of Seymour, Indiana, passed away Friday August 28, 2015, at The Covered Bridge Nursing Home.
Edna was born May 5, 1926, in Marion County Indiana, the daughter of the late Ezra and Nellie (Pugh) Clouse.
She married Raymond Marsh on January 10, 1942, in Jackson County Indiana.
Edna was a member of the Reddington Christian Church. She worked for US Shoe for 34 years before retiring from Cummins after 12 years of service. Edna had a “green thumb” she loved to garden and attend to her flowers. Her family said that she was also an amazing cook. She enjoyed spending time at the lake, going fishing and camping with her husband. Edna was also a collector of many things over the years.
She is survived by her husband; sons Raymond Tom (Kathy) Marsh, Monty (Pam) Marsh, Rick Marsh and Dick Marsh; grandchildren, Shannon Snyder, Sabrina McKillip, Samantha Eline, Dustin Marsh, ten great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
Edna is preceded in death by her parents, infant grandson, Justin J. Marsh, grandson Arthur “Artie” Marsh, step-son Howard Max Marsh; brothers, Wallace “Eddie” Clouse, Floyd Claude Clouse and sisters Virginia Petro, Dorothy Canfield and Betty Petro.
Funeral service will be at 11:00 am on Wednesday September 2, 2015, at Voss Chapel with Pastor Scott Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Reddington Cemetery.
Friends and family may call from 4:00 to 8:00 pm on Tuesday September 1, 2015 and on Wednesday from 10:00 am until time of service.
