Cody Alan Deaton, 28, of Seymour IN, passed away on Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at IU Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born on December 22, 1988 in Seymour to Stefan James Deaton and Sandra Jane Hoene. He enjoyed traveling, finance, his dog Tobi, and living life to the fullest. His carefree attitude warmed the hearts of those around him. Cody worked for JP Morgan, Royalty Associates and was also a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church.
He is survived by his mother, his father, three brothers: Roman A. Deaton, Wyatt R. Deaton, and Conner A. Hoene; a sister, Mayson L. Hoene, his maternal grandfather, Steven G. West, his paternal grandfather, Glenn Deaton, two uncles: Steve West and Eric Brandyberry.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, JoAnn Brandyberry and his paternal grandmother, Sue Deaton.
Memorial services will be on Saturday, June 10, at 5 pm at Voss & Sons with Rev. Jimmy Rodriguez officiating.
Friends may call from 1-4 pm on Saturday, June 10, at Voss & Sons. A Celebration of Life Service with memory sharing by friends and family will begin at 4 pm.
