Mrs. Deborah “Debbie” Ann Siefker, 63, of Seymour, passed away on Thursday, March 8, 2018 at her home surrounded by family. She was born June 9, 1954, to the late Francis J. and Euldean M. “Dolly” (Cooper) Kipper.
Funeral services will be conducted by Voss & Sons Funeral Service at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Sauers on Monday, March 12 at 12:30 pm with Pastor Patrick Galligar officiating. Burial will follow at St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery, Sauers.
Family and friends may call at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Sunday from 3-7 pm and at the church on Monday from 11:30 am until time of service.
She was a graduate of Jennings County High School, class of 1972. On February 14, 1976, she married Michael G. Siefker at St. Mary Catholic Church in North Vernon, he preceded her in death. She faithfully served 40 years of service at Cummins Engine plant in Columbus. She enjoyed crocheting, gardening, planting flowers and baking. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and family. She had a fondness in her heart for all animals, whether watching animals in the wild or spending time with her own pets.
She is survived by her children, Grant M. (Jessica) Siefker and Heidi (Ryan) Mackos; grandchildren, Morgan Siefker, Holden Siefker, Giuliana Mackos and Genevieve Mackos; brothers, Joe (Vicki) Kipper and Dennis Kipper; and sister, Peggy (Tracy) Martin.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; and sister-in-law, Judy Kipper.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be written to St. Peters Lutheran Church or Red Sky Rescue, in care of Voss & Sons Funeral Service.
