

































Ms. Debra Ann Newman, 55, of Paris Crossing, formerly of Seymour, passed away Friday, April 4, 2014, with family by her side.
Born April 6, 1958, in Bartholomew County she was the daughter of Leonard and Mary (Miller) Newman.
Debra had made Jackson and Jennings Counties her home since the summer of 1989. She was a homemaker and a very loving mother and grandmother. She loved the outdoors, fishing, planting flowers, and gardening. Debra especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her companion Tim Wells; daughters Michelle (Larry) Perry, Kimberly (Ronald) Stevens; grandchildren Larry Perry, Jr, Myra Perry, Tre Perry, Brittany Stevens, Ronald “R.J” Stevens, Jr.; step mother Barbara Newman; sister Sharon Newman; half sister Wanda (Todd) Barkes; half brother William Newman.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers; Bobby Newman, Johnny Newman, Michael Newman; sister Linda Muir; and half brother Richard Newman.
Funeral services will be held at Voss Chapel on Monday, April 7, at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Gary Dyer officiating.
Burial will take place at Riverview Cemetery.
Family and friends may call at Voss Chapel on Monday after 11:00 a.m. until time of service
