Mr. Dennis Morrow, 79 of Seymour, passed away Monday, March 25, 2019 at home surrounded by his family. He was born in Kendallville, Indiana to the late Robert and Edith (Spurrier) Morrow.
Funeral services will be at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Thursday, March 28 at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Sandy Cooper officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery.
Family and friends may call at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. and Thursday from 12:30 p.m. until time of service.
Dennis was a member of First United Methodist Church. He was a 1957 graduate of Columbus High School and attended Franklin College where he studied journalism. On November 30, 1961 at Methodist Church in Alert, Indiana, he married Janice Galyen; she survives. He built his own muzzle loader to hunt. He enjoyed being outdoors whether he was hunting for rabbits, fishing, kayaking or camping. Dennis was a freelance photographer; he often worked with Rose Acre Farms. His pictures were used on post cards for Rose Acre Farms and Jen Farms. He also enjoyed traveling to Canada.
He is survived by his wife, Janice Morrow; children, Timothy Morrow and Denise (Randy) Brewer; grandchildren, Catherine (Dan) Meyers, Robert (Desiree) Morrow, Sam (Jordan) Morrow, Crystal (Brandtley) Spicer and Aaron Brewer (fianc�, Samantha Nelsen); and great-grandchildren, Alexis, Bryson, Sophia, Darien and Alexandra.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Douglas Morrow; brother, David Morrow; nephew, Nathaniel Morrow; and beloved in-laws, Harold and Martha Galyen.
Memorials may be written to First United Methodist Church or Jackson County Humane Society, in care of Voss & Sons Funeral Service.
