Dianne K. West

Mrs. Dianne Kay West, 72, of Seymour, IN passed away Sunday, March 22, 2020 at her residence.

Born in 1947 in Seymour, she was the daughter of the late Harry Henry Luedeman and Faye (Stogdill) Luedeman who survives.

In 1967, she married the late Stephen Douglas West and has surviving sons, Kevin Douglas (Michele) West and Jason Thomas (Tabitha A.) West. She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Vivian Marie West and has surviving granddaughter, Sophia Marie West and grandson, Brian Cade West.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Dan Luedeman and is survived by her brothers Michael (Rita) Luedeman, Ricky Joe (Maggie) Luedeman, and Douglas Kinnick (Terry Heck) Luedeman.

She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, Daniel C. Luedeman II, Jeremy Luedeman, Michelle (Brian) Schaefer, Craig (Spring) Luedeman, Kari (Drew) Storey, Andy (Sarah) Luedeman, and Jeffrey Luedeman.

She was a 1965 graduate of Seymour Senior High School. She retired in 2013 after 17 years of service at Cadence Insurance in Houston, TX. She also worked in insurance for State Farm in Granada Hills, CA and Beldon Insurance in Seymour, IN. She also worked at Luedeman’s Grocery & Catering and the Indiana State Highway Department.

She was a current member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and former member of Holy Covenant United Methodist in Katy, TX and Trinity United Methodist in Seymour, IN. She was a former member of the West Houston Quilters’ Guild, the Indiana Business Women’s Association, and former PTA President at Redding Elementary.

According to her wishes, she will be cremated and buried at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery. Pastor Blomenberg will preside over a graveside memorial service at a later date.
