Donald Harris Sullivan, age 95, formerly of Seymour, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at Charleston House Memory Care in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin.
Don was born in Seymour, Indiana, on April 27, 1920, the son of the late LeRoy and Enola Harris Sullivan. On July 14, 1944, in Gallup, New Mexico, Don married Marylouise Frost who preceded him in death.
He was in the U.S. Army and served his country for three years during WWII. Don worked for the Jackson County REMC as office manager for 25 years, and retired in 1985. In his retirement, he enjoyed doing volunteer work at Schneck Medical Center, doing genealogy work, and getting together with his family. Don was an active member of Central Christian Church and served as a senior elder and taught Sunday school classes.
He is survived by his two sons; Patrick (Judy) Sullivan and Gary (Jayne) Sullivan; three grandsons; Brian (Meg) Sullivan; Jeffrey (Jessica) Sullivan; and Deron Sullivan; and four great granddaughters, Kiley Sullivan, Katie Sullivan, Ella Sullivan, and Moira Sullivan.
Don was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 25, 2015, at Central Christian Church, 1434 West Second Street, Seymour, with Rev. Kit Bogan officiating. Burial will take place at Riverview Cemetery.
Friends and family may visit at the church after 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
