Ms. Donna Kay Leckermeyer, 77, of Columbus, passed away Thursday, May 30, 2019 at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana. She was born in Watsika, Illinois to the late Edwin “Ed” and Elizabeth “Betty” Leckermeyer.
Funeral services will be at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Tuesday, June 4 at 10 am with Rev. Joseph Barlau officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery.
Family and friends may call at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Monday from 6-8 pm and Tuesday from 9 am until time of service.
She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church. Donna graduated Seymour Senior High School and went on to Ball State University. She retired from Cummins after 30 years of service and then worked another 18 years with TechCom. Donna was very dedicated to her family, especially her nieces and nephews.
Donna is survived by her sister, Betty Jo “Joby” Moore; nieces and nephews, Kevin (Sue) Curry, Kyle Curry, Rick Chisham, Lisa Morris and Kristin (Audie) Miller; great nieces and nephews, Kelly (Ryan) Williams, Toni Ruddick, Stacy Curry, Emily Curry, Kim Curry, Jessi Morris and Casey Morris; great-great nieces and nephews, Shea Hankins, Macy Jackson, Moses Jackson, Kaydee Ruddick, Hunter Taylor, Charlie Jones and Max Kleber; great-great-great niece, Mallory Hankins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Dorla Curry; brothers-in-law, Jerry Curry and Richard Chisham; and great niece, Carrie Jackson.
Memorials may be written to Peace Lutheran Church or D.A.R.E., in care of Voss & Sons Funeral Service.
