Mrs. Doris Marlene Hoene, 80, of Seymour, passed away on Monday, November 13, 2017, at Schneck Medical Center. She was born on September 15, 1937, to the late Louis and Myrtle (Schneider) Dieckmeyer. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church Borchers. She was baptized at St. Paul Lutheran Church Wegan and confirmed on March 18, 1951, at Immanuel Lutheran Church. On September 22, 1957, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, she married Paul Hoene, he survives. She was a member of Tops, Home Economics Club � Kum Join Us, and Borchers Breakfast Club. She was an avid card player. She enjoyed traveling, square dancing and visiting Florida. She had a great feeling for her family and faith.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Paul Hoene; children, Steve (Lisa) Hoene, Tom (Tina) Hoene, Mark (Barbara) Hoene and Debbie (Brett) Quillen; grandchildren, Nicole Hoene, Michelle Hoene, Gretchen Hoene, Erik Hoene, Travis (Stephanie) Quillen, Amanda (Jason) Schreier, Conner Hoene and Mayson Hoene; step grandchildren, Dustin Shuler, Sarah Blacksher and Travis Manley; great-grandchildren, Jaren Schreier, Landry Quillen and Brantley Quillen; step great-grandchildren, Russel Shuler, Ann Marie Shuler, Sophia Blacksher and Brooklyn Johnson; brothers, Fred (Judy) Dieckmeyer and Roger (Ellie) Dieckmeyer; and brother-in-law, Roger Hubbard.
She is preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Sharon Hubbard.
Funeral services will be conducted by Voss & Sons Funeral Service at St. Paul Lutheran Church Borchers on Friday, November 17 at 10:30 am with Rev. Stephen Wood officiating. Burial will follow at St. Paul Lutheran Church Cemetery Borchers.
Family and friends may call at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Thursday from 4-8 pm and on Friday at the church from 9:30 am until time of service.
Memorials may be written to Lutheran Global Missions or charity of choice, in care of Voss & Sons Funeral Service.
