Mrs. Dorothy Mae Bevers, 87, of Seymour, passed away Tuesday, September 17, 2019. She was born in Seymour to the late Ernest and Ethel (Eickelberry) Truex.
Funeral services will be at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Friday, September 20 at 10 am. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery.

She married Carl A. Bevers on June 2, 1951 in Fort Sill, Oklahoma; he preceded her in death on May 16, 1993.
Dorothy is survived by her children, Steven W. Bevers, Michael J. Bevers, and Karen Johnson; grandchildren, Susan Howard, Heather Verkuilen, Christina Elliott, Steven Bevers, Jr., Carl Bevers, Ryan Bevers; great-grandchildren, Noah Stone, Justine Stone, Lauren Haeberlin, Brooks Haeberlin, Elisabeth Bass, Owen Bass, Trayton Bevers, Jasmine Bevers, Marissa Bevers, Cameron Bevers, Jaden Bevers, Steven Bevers, David Bevers, Nichole Bevers; great-great-grandchild, Hendrix McCutcheon; brother, Donald E. Truex; sister, Ruth (Paul) Boxman
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Livia Bevers
