Dorothy Marie Edwards Waggoner, 66, of Seymour, Indiana, passed away August 16, 2022, at Seymour Crossing. She was born on April 18, 1956, to the late George and Lula (Moore) Edwards. On April 4, 1990, she married the love of her life, the late, William Waggoner in Kentucky.

Dorothy was a member of Hilltop Pentecostal Church of Brownstown. She loved to play Bingo, go to yard sales, and most of all, spending time with her family.

She is survived by two daughters, Tabitha (Mark) Payne, and Brandi Boyd; two stepdaughters, Dorothy Lillard, and Carla Pettigrew; three brothers, Jerry Edwards, Terry Edwards, and Gene (Pat) Bruce; one sister, Judy Roll; nine grandchildren, John Boyd, Isaac Payne, Lathaniel Payne, Terry Pettigrew, Sarah Pettigrew, Hayle Madden, William Wills, Tyler Wills, and Taylor Wills; and five great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, William Waggoner; her parents, George and Lula Edwards; one son, Roger Edwards; one granddaughter, Brittany Wills; three brothers, Earl Bruce Jr., Jack Edwards and Lil Joe Edwards; and three sisters, Catherine Denson, Brenda Stout, and Mary Williams.

Visitation will be held at Voss and Sons Funeral Service on Thursday August 18, 2022, from 11am until the time of service at 1pm with Pastor Steve Muster officiating. Burial will follow the service at Riverview Cemetery.
