Doyle E. Lucas

March 24, 1958 - August 23, 2015

Doyle E. Lucas, Jr., 57 of Freetown, passed away at 1:13 am Sunday, August 23, 2015, at his residence. Born March 24, 1958, in Seymour, he was the son of Doyle E. Lucas, Sr. and Eunice Ilene Wilson Lucas both of whom preceded him in death.

He grew up in Bartholomew County in the Ogilville are and had lived in Freetown since the early 1990s. He enjoyed his pets, gardening and crafts.

He is survived by his best friend, John Shaw of Freetown, a sister, Penny Jo Lucas (J.R. Feeney) of North Vernon, three brothers, Roger (Pam) Lucas of Jonesville, Randall (Denise) Lucas of Kurtz, and Tim (Susan) Lucas of Edinburgh, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Doyle Lucas Jr. Memorial Fund at Centra Credit Union to assist with burial costs.
