E Janet Cecil

Mrs. E. Janet Cecil, 96, Seymour, passed away Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at the Lutheran Community Home in Seymour.
Born February 28, 1921, in Seymour, IN, she was the daughter of Leo G. Nichter and Elva (Cobbs) Nichter Blair.
On November 1, 1942, in Indianapolis, IN, she married Cloyd R. Cecil who preceded her in death November 16, 1999.
Mrs. Cecil was a charter member of Cornerstone Community Church, Seymour. She was a homemaker.
Janet is survived by her son James R. (Ramona K.) Cecil, two granddaughters, Jennifer and Kelly Dawn, several great grandchildren, a sister in law Jean Nichter, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and 2 brothers, Merrill E. (Bud) Nichter, and Donald M. Nichter and sister in law, Libby Nichter.
Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 18, 2017 at Voss and Sons Funeral Service, with the Reverend Johnnie Spivey, officiating
Burial will take place at Riverview Cemetery.
Friends may call on Saturday after 12 noon until time of service at Voss Chapel.
