Elizabeth Ann Swisher

Mrs. Elizabeth Ann Swisher, 88 of Seymour, passed away under the caring staff of the Covered Bridge Health Care Center in Seymour on Thursday, January 8, 2015. Ann was born in Madison, Indiana, the daughter of the late John Edwin and Mary Margaret Buchanan Kramer.
Ann graduated from Shields High School class of 1944 and was of the Methodist faith. After several years of service she retired from the office of Kocolene Oil Company in the accounting and data entry departments.
She was an avid sports fan and some of her favorite teams were IU, Pacers, Colts and the Cincinnati Reds. She enjoyed reading and was a member of the Elks Ladies Auxillary.
On February 6, 1959 she married Robin Duane Swisher in Seymour, who passed away August 21, 2012.
She is survived by 7 nephews; Bob (Susan) Bowman, Jeff Swisher, Gordon (Joy) Swisher, Wes (Betty) Swisher, Donnie Weaver, Darrel Bowerly, and David (Rose) Bowerly, 2 nieces; Robin Sue (Randy) Rayburn and Sallie Ann Weaver, 4 great-nephews; Andy (Amanda) Bowman, Bobby Bowman, Vince McMullen, and Andrew Swisher, 4 great-nieces; Meredith McMullen, Tiffany Swisher, Ronnie Swisher, and Ellen Swisher, 2 great-great nephews; Brady Bowman and Elliot Davis, and 2 great-great nieces; Madalyn Bowman and Esmarelda Vasquez
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, 1 brother; Bruce Edwin Kramer
and 1 sister, Constance LaVerne Bowman
Funeral services will be on Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at 10 AM at Voss Chapel in Seymour with Rev. Kit Bogan officiating.
Friends may call on Monday, January 12, from 4 to 7 PM at Voss Chapel and on Tuesday from 9 AM until the time of the service.
