I was so sad to hear of Farrell’s passing , but rejoice in knowing that He is now with Jesus. It was a pleasure to have worked with him at ILS for several years. I have so many memories of him but these come to mind. Before we had air conditioning, he would come in very, very early and open up all the windows and turn on the fans to try to cool down the classrooms. He always was looking out for us and trying to make the best of a difficult situation. I would always hang my coat on the back of my chair. When I would be out of the classroom, he would stuff paper towels in my sleeves. It always made me smile. He was very loved and appreciated by staff and students. He was a great man. I won’t be able to attend his funeral, but know that you are in my thought and prayers.

Where do I start? My daughter adored him at ILS. He was a friend of my late father's and used to tell my daughter stories of " when they were young". They also had lots of conversations about " stuff". She came home one year before Christmas and specifically asked to buy him a pocket watch for Christmas. She thought that was just what he needed. He received it with such grace and kindness. He was such a friend to so many. He made the world a better place. He will be missed.

Jan and Lisa, may God wrap His loving arms around you and give you comfort. Farrell was so special to so many people. He will forever be known by ILS staff as a dedicated custodian that took such pride in everything he did. I remember his moped rides to school, the tricks he played on us, and his secret Jolly Rancher drop on every student’s desk. You will be in my prayers.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

Jan and Lisa, may God comfort you during this time. I am certain Farrell heard his Lord say, "Well done, my good and faithful servant. " He was a blessing to students and staff. His friendliness and smile was the best start and end to every day. He was a true friend and a dedicated worker.
