Florence Ann Bryant

March 30, 1942 - May 27, 2016

Florence Ann Bryant, 74 of Seymour, Indiana, passed away Friday, May 27, 2016, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana in Columbus.

She was born March 30, 1942, in Hodgenville, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Raymond and Myrtle (Cain) Lucas.

She married Joe Bryant April 23, 1958, in Kentucky, and he preceded her.

Florence loved Bingo, going to Goodwill, yard sales, crafting and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her children: Edward Ray Bryant, Deborah Fay Wilson, Bonnie (W.T.) Lambert, Betty (Kenny) Campbell, Connie (Harold) Gasaway, Melissa (Dwight) Wells, Fredrick Dale (Julia) Bryant, Jessica Hankins and Cynthia (Randy) Cockerham; fourteen grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, two brothers: Raymond (Jana) Lucas and James Lee Lucas; two sisters: Nancy (Donald) Crouch and Dorothy (Lloyd) Cline; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a daughter, Debra Fleener.

Funeral service will be held at Voss Chapel on Tuesday, May 31, 2016, at 1:00 pm with Rev. Clifton Burton officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery.

Friends and family may gather at Voss Chapel on Tuesday after 11:00 am until time of service.

Memorial checks may be written to the American Cancer Society.

Arrangements were made through Voss & Sons Funeral Service, Seymour, Indiana.

Ann was more than a sister in law she was my friend she was always there for me and Bobby we love u Ann you will be forever in our heart

This is my sister and I remember a time when I was younger and Ann was learning to drive and she hit the fence with MOM and DAD's she said oh darn it but she went on to learn . Ann left home at and early age she and her husband Joe went to CA to live and they had there girl Debbie there she was born in a room where movie star had stayed . Ann was a hard working person who enjoyed her life there are many things to say but she was a good sister and a great lady in her own rite. I did not know Ann well in her older years and I have no pictures to share of her they memories and pictures are all in my heart and my brain and I will always cherish the times we shared as brother and sister Love you sis have a great trip to heaven tell everyone hello for me. Hope to meet you there someday later.
