Frank L. Holt

Rev. Frank L. Holt, 79, of Crothersville went home to his heavenly Father on September 13, 2014.

Born September 21, 1934 in Boyle County, KY, he was the son of Henry E. and Catherine (Crow) Holt.

On October 30, 1954, he married Dellatene Colwell in Danville Kentucky.

Rev. Holt was pastor of Seymour Community Church for over 40 years. He retired from Seymour Manufacturing.

Besides his wife he is survived by his children, Ronald E. (Loretta) Holt, Sherry L. LaMaster, Tanita Gayle (Kevin) Hensley, grandchildren, Kristie (Chris) Graybeal, Joseph E. Holt, Kylie Rae Hensley, Piper Mechele Hensley, great grandson, Joshua Wyatt Houk, and brother, Allen Holt.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, and 2 sisters.

Funeral services will be held at Seymour Community Church on Wednesday September, 17 at 11AM with Rev. Paul Rountree and Rev. Wendell Phillips officiating.

Burial will take place at Cana Cemetery.

Friends may call Voss Chapel 4PM to 8PM Tuesday September, 16 and also Wednesday from 10AM until time of service.

Memorials may be written to Seymour Community Church.

All arrangements have been entrusted to Voss Funeral Service, Seymour IN.

Brother Holt was a wonderful pastor who helped me find my way to accept Jesus Christ as my personal savior. I worked with him at Seymour Manufacturing and soon began attending Seymour Community Church. He was a musician and a craftsman and quite the story teller. He will be missed by all of us.

Uncle Frank was one of my hero's along with my father. I will miss him very much, he poured so much into my life. Love you Unc! Ken Ousley
