Mr. Fredrick Ralph “Fred” Luenebrink, 75, of Seymour, passed away on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at Covered Bridge Health Campus. He was born in Columbus on February 18, 1943, the son of the late Henry Fredrick “Ralph” and Thressie Lucille (Findley) Luenebrink.
Funeral services will be conducted by Voss & Sons Funeral Service at Redeemer Lutheran Church on Saturday, November 10 at 11 am with Revs. Andrew Currao and Joseph Barlau officiating. Burial will follow at St. Peters Lutheran Cemetery in Brownstown.
Family and friends may call at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Friday from 5-8 pm and at Redeemer Lutheran Church on Saturday from 10 am until time of service.
He was born and raised on a farm he worked with his parents and continued to farm after his parents retired. He retired after having worked at Rayloc for 15 years terminal based in Indianapolis as a truck driver; he also worked in construction. He loved to work. He also loved horses and woodworking.
On April 21, 1963, in Seymour, he married Patricia Ann Engelking. Fred and Pat loved to travel. They were active for over 20 years with the 4-H Horse Show Concession at Jackson County Fairgrounds.
He is survived by his children, Troy (Barbara) Luenebrink and Robin (Greg) Price; grandchildren, Nick (Marj) Strawser, Lynn Burns, and Braden Teipen; great-grandchildren, Kayden Lynn Burns, Sophia Harlan Strawser, and Stella Loraine Strawser; siblings, Robert Allen (Mary) Luenebrink, Carol Meyer, and Patty Wischmeier; as well as several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents; wife; son, Fredrick Daniel Luenebrink; and siblings, Norma Rose and Doil Luenebrink.
Memorials may be written to Redeemer Lutheran Church Building Fund, in care of Voss & Sons Funeral Service.
