Gary Carmichael, 73, of Seymour, Indiana passed away January 4, 2022, at Schneck Medical Center. Gary was born in 1948, in Seymour, Indiana to the late Russell and Margaret Carmichael. On June 23, 1968, he married the love of his life Peggy Isaacs at Honeytown Christian Church.
Gary was a member of Brownstown Christian Church. He was a carpenter and electrician by trade. Gary also held numerous pitching records at Brownstown Central High School. He also loved camping, fixing things and spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Gary is survived by his wife Peggy Carmichael; his daughters, Cari (Mike) Boggs and Amy (Steve) Blair; grandchildren, Hunter (Paige) Boggs, Chase Boggs, Bryant (Jessica) Carmichael, JD Fish; great grandchildren, Paislee Boggs, Brooklyn Thompson, Braxton Carmichael, and Sawyer Carmichael; and his sister, Joy Soladine.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a grandson, Austin Fish.
Visitation will be held on Friday January 7, 2022, at Voss and Sons Funeral Home from 4pm to 8pm and on Saturday January 8, 2022, from 10 am until time of the service. Service will be held at Voss and Sons Funeral Home on Saturday January 8, 2022, at 11 am with Michael Hogg officiating. Burial will follow at Robertson Cemetery.
Family request memorial contributions be written to Brownstown Christian Church building fund or Medora Goes Pink in care of Voss and Sons Funeral Service.
