Cindy and Kent Parkinson left a message on September 4, 2024:
We first met George and Denise in the late 1970s when they moved from Indiana to Phoenix Arizona. We were both young couples without children and hit it off immediately. We had free time, loved to have fun, and like the same activities. We went partying, hiking, boating, fishing, swimming, golfing, bowling and dancing just to name a few. We also vacationed in Puerto Penasco and Cabo San Lucas Mexico. Cindy and I had never met anyone like George before. He was unique, to say the least, borderline manic at times, simply crazy good! George was not just entertaining… he was the party! We could laugh all night. He was the consummate joker. He could tell wonderful stories, do impersonations, and hold his own in any crowd. George was kind and loving. He was a pure joy to be around. When we had two children, he adopted them as his own. He loved them dearly and they loved him back. He would spend hours entertaining and playing sports and games with them. They adored their "Uncle George". He even made the extra effort to dress up and play Santa Claus at Christmas…so many great memories! George was truly one of a kind. He was a friend for the ages, enriching our lives forever. He will never, ever be forgotten. Fondly, The Parkinsons Chris, Callie, Cindy, and Kent
