Mr. Glenn Dale Bolte, 69, of Seymour passed away Friday, February 27, 2015 at his home surrounded by his family.
Glenn was born in Seymour, Indiana on June 21, 1945, the son of the late Marvin and Martha (Krumme) Bolte.
He was a life long member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Jonesville. After graduating from High School he went to work and retired from Product Engineering Tool and Die Company in Columbus. His favorite hobby was going deer, turkey and squirrel hunting with his brothers and friends.
Glenn married Sheridan A. Cole on June 27, 1965 at the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Jonesville.
He is survivied by his wife of 49 years, Sheridan, brothers David L. Bolte, Leroy D. Bolte, and Tony M. (Connie) Bolte, sister Melody A. (Bolte) (Ron) Wischmeier, step brother Jeffrey K. (Sue) Meier, sister-in-law Sandy Bolte and several nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his parents, step mother Susie Meier Bolte, brother Jeffrey D. Bolte, sister-in-law Paula Bolte and a great niece Grace Ann Scarlett.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at 2:30 PM at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church with Rev. Ed Keinath and Vicar Matt Jung officiating.
Friends may call at Voss Chapel on Monday, March 2, from 4 – 8 PM and on Tuesday at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church from 1:30 – 2:30 PM.
Burial will be at St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery, Jonesville.
Memorial donations may be written to Hospice of Schneck Medical Center or St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Jonesville.
