Mr. Gregory M. Williams, 59, of Scipio, passed away Wednesday, May 1, 2019. He was born in Seymour to Hershel M. Williams and Betty (Davidson) Byarlay.
Funeral services will be at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Sunday, May 5 at 2 pm with Rev. Van Breeding officiating. Burial will follow at White River Valley Cemetery.
Family and friends may call at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Saturday from 1-6 pm and Sunday from noon until time of service.
Greg was a 29 year employee of Aisin where he met his soul mate and love of his life, Dana Jones. He enjoyed being outdoors fishing, hunting, driving and attending dirt track racing and working on cars. He was a very good man.
Greg is survived by his mother, Betty (Gene) Byarlay; father, Herschel (Janice) Williams; companion, Dana Jones; children, Derrick Williams, Faythe Williams, Dustin Williams, Daniel Jones and Andrew Jones; grandchildren, Hunter, Konner, Waylon, Katrina, Braydon, Layton, Braxton and Alyssa; brother, Andy (Teresa) Wayman; sisters, Tawana (Jerry) Baker and Jerri Kay Luster; stepbrother, Chris (Kayla) Darlage; stepsister, Lori (Greg) Bentley; mother-in-law, Sherry Eaglen; father-in-law, Dan Caudill; brother-in-law, Bill Colwell; several extended family and best friend, Spooky the dog.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Pamela Colwell.
Memorials may be written to Mountain Baptist Church, American Cancer Society or Jennings County Animal Control, in care of Voss & Sons Funeral Service.

I have so many memories of you, but the one that sticks out the most! We always talked about it. Krista and I was in middle and elementary school and you had to take us to school in a car we for some reason didn't want to be seen in lol, as we begged you to drop us off where no-one could see us you proudly and happily pulled up right to the front doors just laughing and laughing. It always puts a smile on my face and makes me laugh. I'm so beyond heartbroken for myself and for the many many more that loved you!
