Mr. Harold Dean Emly, 71, of Boynton Beach, Florida passed away Friday, January 22, 2021, with the love of his life by his side. Dawn Bosco has been his loving companion since 2010.

Dean was born in Seymour on August 20, 1949, the son of the late Max Emily and Helen Neawedde Emily.

Dean graduated from Seymour High School and then entered the United States Marine Corps. After serving his country, he did several things. Since he was such a people person, he went into the real estate business. He was recently recognized as a Top 20 real estate salesman nationwide for the Keller Williams Real Estate Office.

Dean will be greatly missed, but not forgotten by his best friend Dawn Bosco, brothers: Gene Emily and wife Linda, Robert Emily and wife Linda, Richard Emily and wife Linda, John Emily and wife Margie, Dennis Emily and wife Virginia, Jerry Emily wife Penny, and Carl Emily and wife Lisa, sisters: Doris Beltz and husband Edward, Ramona Adams, sister in law Jean Emily, and brother and sister in law Robin and Cindy Bosco Hill. His extended family of 61 nieces and nephews, numerous great and great great nieces, and nephews.

He joins in heaven his mother and father, brothers: Paul and Donald Emily, nephews Stephen Emily and Michael Emily.

Family and friends may gather at Immanuel Lutheran Church on Wednesday after 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Funeral service will be at the Church on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m., conducted by Voss and Sons Funeral Service and officiated by Rev. Ralph Blomenberg.

Burial will follow at Conologue Cemetery with full military honors provided by The VFW, American Legion, DAV, Korean and Vietnam Veterans all of Seymour.

The family appreciates all the prayers and concern for them in this time of loss. Cards and notes of condolence will be most welcome and can be sent to Dean Emly in care of Voss and Sons Funeral Service, 316 N. Chestnut St., Seymour, Indiana 47274.

In accordance with CDC guidelines, masks are required before admittance to the church as well as social distancing within the building. We kindly ask that there be no physical contact such as hugs or handshakes to protect staff and the family.

Family asks that memorial checks be written to Wounded Warrior Project or Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
