Mr. Harold E. Gresham, 91, of Seymour, passed away Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at Lutheran Community Home. He was born in 1927, in Urbana, Illinois, to the late Harold and Agnes (Bryant) Gresham.
Funeral services will be at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Saturday, January 19 at 1:30 pm with Rev. Tom Judd officiating. Burial will follow at Hayden Cemetery.
Family and friends may call at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Friday from 4-8 pm and Saturday from 12:30 pm until time of service.
He was a member of Central Christian Church. On August 16, 1946, he married Alta Louise Matlock; she preceded him in death on August 24, 2011. He was retired from Cummins; he also worked at Noltings and JayC where he carried out groceries and at Midway Cycle Sales. He enjoyed playing guitar, watching NASCAR and fishing. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his children, Jeanne Bode, Steve Gresham and Helen (Larry) McIntosh; grandchildren, Kent (Shane) Bode, Melissa Hatton, Doug (Kelli) Gresham, Bryan (Tina) Gresham, Jason Todd (Andee) Gresham, Larry Wayne (Kristina) McIntosh, Michael (Jordan) McIntosh and Matthew (Samantha) McIntosh; 12 great-grandchildren; and brother, Morris Gresham.
He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Alta Louise Gresham; grandson, Brian Bode; son-in-law, Nick Bode; and daughters-in-law, Doris Gresham and Diana Gresham.
Memorials may be written to Central Christian Church or charity of choice, in care of Voss & Sons Funeral Service.
