Mr. Harold James Schoenfelder, 73, of Seymour, passed away on Friday, February 09, 2018 at Schneck Medical Center. He was born in Seymour on November 23, 1944 to the late Carl and Frieda (Klosterman) Schoenfelder. He was a veteran of the US Army, serving in the Vietnam War. He was a member of American Legion 89 and VFW 1925. He was a member of 136 Local Union for 28 years as a Steamfitter.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Linda (Robinson) Schoenfelder; children, Brian (Jamie) Schoenfelder and Stacy (Jim) McCormick; grandchildren, Morgan and Mason McCormick and Baby Girl Schoenfelder expected in mid-February; and sisters, Marie Wishmeier, Alice Ridlen and Carolyn Peterson.
He is preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Carl Schoenfelder, Gilbert Schoenfelder and John Schoenfelder.
Funeral services will be at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Tuesday, February 13 at 11 am with Rev. Ralph Blomenberg officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery.
Family and friends may call at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Monday from 4-8 pm and on Tuesday from 9 am until time of service.
Memorials may be written to Immanuel Lutheran Church, Don & Dana Myers Cancer Center or Schneck Hospice, in care of Voss & Sons Funeral Service.
