"People will forget what you said to them. They will even forget what you did to them. But, they will never forget how you made them feel." Harold made people feel welcomed, wanted, and loved. Heaven just got a heck of a guitar picker. Rest in peace my brother.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

Sherry, l can't express how sorry I am for your loss. I know exactly how broken hearted you are and I wish there was something I could do or say to make you feel better, but I know there isn't. I'm so sorry that I can't make it to the viewing or funeral as I'm in Florida with Denise and Ava. Please call me anytime you need someone to listen who has been there. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. Love and hugs! Linda

To Sherry and family; It is with great sadness that I heard of Harold’s passing. I will always remember how Harold truly epitomized duty, decency, reliability, honour, dignity, respect: these are all qualities that Harold not only held in high esteem, but practiced every day during his time on this earth. He was a serious and disciplined man, but he could never resist the opportunity to have a laugh with friends and loved ones, given half the chance. To me, Harold’s finest quality was his patience: an inherent ability to listen, to absorb and to offer a point of view based on quiet, measured wisdom. I’ll never forget the time when I asked him what I should do about having to move from Indiana and leave my family due to my job with the government: “Do what you feel, what you believe is right. Follow your gut, your heart, and you can’t go wrong.” It’s difficult to imagine him not being around for you guys and I’m not sure how you will all cope. Sherry i know you, his sons, the grandchildren and your entire family and all his friends will miss him dearly. It’s strange to think that you all can’t just speak to him, give him a call or pop around to have one of your good old yarns. I know Harold lived a fine and happy life, and only succumbed to ill health right at the very end. He was a good man, a man of character whose reassuring presence everyone felt during difficult times. As you gather to remember and commemorate his life, bid him farewell as you mourn the loss of a lively, dignified soul. A soul that brought joy and fulfilment to many, and whose legacy will live on forever. With our heartfelt condolences Carl and Sun Workman and Family
