



















































































Harry R. “Dick” Linscott, 81, of Seymour, passed away Monday, June 8, 2020 at his home. He was born in Hayden to the late Squire and Thelma (Abel) Linscott.
Due to Covid-19 gathering restrictions, private family funeral services will be conducted by Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Thursday, June 11 at 1:00 p.m. Private family visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until time of service. Masks are mandatory within the funeral home.
Private family burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery with full military graveside rites conducted by VFW Post 1925, American Legion Post 89, Disabled Veterans 47, Korean and Vietnam Veterans, all of Seymour.
In March 1960, Dick married Carolyn Sue Robertson; she survives. He served in the US Army during the Korean and Vietnam wars. Dick was a member of the Laborer’s Union Local 741 and was retired from the construction industry. He loved the concrete industry and was pouring concrete up until that day with friends. He loved being outdoors fishing and mushroom hunting. He loved to share a laugh with friends. He was a member of the Moose Lodge, Eagles and VFW, all of Seymour.
Dick is survived by his wife of 60 years, Sue Linscott; children, Pamela (David) Malone, Glenda Abshear, Greg (Jennifer) Linscott; grandchildren, Kiel Abshear, Ryan Abshear, Megan Strong, David Malone, Suzann Sorensen, Chad Malone; 10 great-grandchildren; and brother, Tom Linscott.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sons, Richard Alan Linscott and Jeffery David Linscott; brothers, Francis Linscott, Bill Linscott; and sisters, Evelyn Belcher, Loretta Harvey, Emogene Spears and Rosenelle Dress.
