Higinio Ruiz Rodriguez, 57, of Columbus, Indiana, passed away at Columbus Regional Health.
He was born in 1963 to the late Seferino Ruiz Herrera and Ernesting Rodriguez Rosado in Blancaespuma, Veracruz.
Higinio was married on December 31,1982 to the love of his life Gabina Aguilar Diaz.
He is survived by his children Carlos (Rebecca) Ruiz Aguilar and Samuel Ruiz Aguilar. Grandchildren Izabel Ruiz and Kendra Ruiz. Higinio is also survived by several brothers.
He is preceded in death by his parents and a grandchild, Jetta Ruiz.
Friends may call on Sunday, January 17, 2021 from 2-4 p.m. at Cornerstone Community Church in Seymour, 1088 Sarasota Dr, Seymour, IN 47274.
Funeral services will be conducted by Voss and Sons Funeral Home at 4p.m. on Sunday January 17, 2021 with Rev. Johnnie Spivey officiating.
The family appreciates all the prayers and concern for them in this time of loss. Higinio will be missed by many friends in the community. Cards and notes of condolence will be most welcome.
In accordance with CDC guidelines, masks are required before admittance to the church as well as social distancing within the building.
