Mr. Jackie “Jack” D. Isaacs, 83, of Seymour, passed away on Tuesday, March 6, 2018, at Keepsake Village of Columbus. He was born July 13, 1934 to the late Bruce and Leoma (Allman) Isaacs.
Funeral services will be at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Friday, March 9 at 2:30 pm with Rev. Dennis Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Uniontown Cemetery.
Family and friends may call at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Friday from 12:30 pm until time of service.
A Masonic Service will be held at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Friday at 11:30 am.
He grew up around Cortland. He retired as a mechanic. He was a member of Honeytown Christian Church and Brownstown Masonic Lodge. His interests included collecting clocks, restoring old cars and he loved car shows and parades. Jack enjoyed traveling with his wife, Doris Pauline Isaacs, to car shows where they showed off their award winning antique cars.
He is survived by his sister, Ruth Baker; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents; wife; brothers, Marvin “Brucie” Isaacs, Donald “Pepper” Isaacs and Marshall “Chalk” Isaacs; and sisters, Delsie Wetzel, Marilyn Malone and Annabelle Wayt.
Memorials may be written to Hospice at Keepsake Village of Columbus or Honeytown Christian Church, in care of Voss & Sons Funeral Service.
