Jacquelin M. Meyer, 90, of Columbus, passed from this life Saturday, April 4, 2020 at Otterbein Senior Living in Franklin, Indiana.
Jackie was born September 11, 1929 in Salem, Indiana to the late Roy M. and Geneva (Wible) Wilson.
She was a 1947 honors graduate of Shields High School in Seymour, Indiana. Jackie was a homemaker while her children were young and then went on to have a career later in life in the Dallas, Texas area. Her last position was with the Walter Bennett Company placing advertising for the Billy Graham Crusades.
After spending fifteen years in Texas, she returned back to Indiana for retirement. She enjoyed reading, working crossword puzzles, and sewing. She was a member of the Modern Homemakers Bartholomew County Home Extension Club and enjoyed exhibiting at the County Fair.
Jackie is survived by her children, Dwayne (Lilia) Meyer of Milpitas, CA, Melissa Baldwin of Terre Haute, IN, and Lecia (Dave) Bonnell of Columbus, IN; grandchildren Richard and Albert (Rose) Meyer of Milpitas, CA, Stephanie (Jesse) Miller of Indianapolis, Michael (Whitney Moore) Bonnell of Columbus and Emily (Charles) Riggs of Houston, TX; great-grandchildren, KayLee Meyer of Milpitas and Jackson and Lucy Miller of Indianapolis; brother, Roy (Mac) Wilson of Arizona and sister, Jane Minor of North Carolina.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, John Wilson; sister, Margot Atchison and son-in-law, Steve Baldwin.
A private memorial will be conducted at Voss & Sons Funeral Service, Tuesday April 7, 2020 with burial at Riverview Cemetery in Seymour.
