James D. Hess

July 29, 1947 - March 3, 2015

In loving memory of James D. Hess, 67, of Seymour, IN passed away Sunday, March 1, 2015 in Greenwood, IN.

Born July 29, 1947 in Indianapolis, IN. He was the son of James D. and Fannie Mae (Davidson) Hess. Both whom proceeded him in death.

He is survived by his wife, Wanda J. (Cummings) Hess of 49 years. Two sons, Stephen Lee Hess and James Darrin Hess, two daughters, Kimberly (Mark) Hess and Angela McKnight. He is also survived by his brothers Dennis (Ann) Hess and Bobby Dale Aynes and sisters, Pam (Bill) Gibson, Diane (Sly) Chaney, Gloria Hole and Betty (Bob) Sons.

James is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He was proceeded in death by his brother, Larry Aynes, 2 sisters, Herbretta Lillard and Linda Arnett and parents.

As per his wish, James was cremated at Voss Funeral Services and Tri County Crematory. A grave side service will be held March 7, 2015 at 1:00pm at Riverview Cemetery.
