To Linda and the McCoy family - My parents, Ed and Betty Elsner, really appreciated your friendship and love of fun and travel. My Dad and Jim gave enduring dedication and leadership to JCB and the community. I know Dad had the ultimate respect for Jim as a friend and as a businessman. We have so many happy memories of the Elsner and the McCoy families. I particularly remember when Jim somehow volunteered to help move furniture in the basement. We really needed his help! Thinking of you at this sad time and remembering all the happy and fun times. Elaine Elsner Mittleman

Jim and I served together on the Jackson County Bank boards and its holding company for several decades. During the last 14 years he served as the bank's Chairman, and as my boss. But moreover, he was a mentor and counselor to me during that time, always encouraging me to be the best I could be. His counsel and friendship will be sorely missed.
