Jean Ann Thompson

Mrs. Jean Ann Cole Thompson, 65 of Seymour, passed away at Schneck Medical Center, Monday, January 26, 2015.

Jean Ann was born October 25, 1949 in Seymour, the daughter of the late Ronald Cole and Alta Hendershot Cole Moser.

On November 14, 1970 she married Martin K. “Marty” Thompson in Seymour. Marty passed away March 11, 2008.

Jean Ann was a believer in Christ and a member of the Eagles Ladies Auxiliary, Seymour. She was a faithful homemaker and enjoyed cooking for her family and friends. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed going to the race track and supporting her husband when he raced at Brownstown.

She is survived by her daughters Aimee ReNee (Richard) Spencer and Heather Leigh Atkison, grandchildren Shelby ReNee Jones, Ashleigh Nicole Adkins, Corey Jackson Atkison, Brenden Cole Spencer and Sydnee Marie Spencer, Aunt Faye I. Hendershot and step father Joseph Moser.

Jean Ann is preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Funeral service will be held at Voss Chapel on Saturday, 31st at 3:30 p.m. with Rev. Ralph Bomenberg officiating.
Family and friends may call at Voss Funeral Service, Voss Chapel at 316 N. Chestnut St. on Saturday after 2:00 p.m. until time of service.
Burial will follow at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery.

Family ask that Memorials be designated to Relay for Life Cancer Research or Eagles Art Ehrmann Cancer Fund.
