Mike, Sean, & the rest of the family: Jack & Jean were sweet people. When i would go to Zion Lutheran Church, they would always talk to me. My parents made sure that your Mom was taken care. Remember the good times with your parents & your sister. May God wrap his loving arms around the family during this difficult time. Sending hugs your way. Lorie (Rieckers) Carter

I was saddened to see Jean passed away. Every time I take my grandson to school I looked at her residence on South Walnut Street and wondered how she was doing. I did not know she had passed. I met Jean when I first moved to Seymour in the 1980's. I worked at the store for a while and got to know Jack & Jean & Joe. They were the nicest people. They all will be sadly missed. Prayers go out to the family. Susie Saunders (fka Kemp)

This hurts. Jeanie was a pal, a friend to josh with through junior high and high school, just a delightful person to be around. We lost touch, like most of us do as we move through different paths in life, but it is not hard to imagine what a terrific wife, mother and grandmother she must have become. So sorry to see her passing.

Jean was a dear high school friend. We renewed our friendship at a reunion. My husband Neil and I were blessed to spend some time with Jack and Jean in Denver and met them in Indiana. Jean's sweet, caring spirit brought joy and love to all she encountered. My heart is saddened at her loss. I will be praying for you, her family, during this sad time. Love, Carol Phillip's Kesselman

From Jean's cousin up in west central Wisconsin I offer my deepest sympathies to Jean's family. As a young boy growing up on the farm in Blair, I fondly remember Jean & Jack and their young family, Diane & Arnie and their young family, and of course Ingvald & Doris and Basil & Helen + family coming up to visit! It was always fun and brought excitement to our Joe Coulee home! Jean was a wonderful gal with a million dollar smile....and a life well lived!
