Jean S. Morris

Mrs. Jean S. Morris, 87 of Seymour, passed away Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at 6:34 a.m. at the Lutheran Community Home.
Mrs. Morris was born in Georgetown, Kentucky on July 11, 1928, the daughter of the late Floyd and Okal (Jones) Sargent.
On August 21, 1949, in Lexington, Kentucky, she married the Rev. D.G. Morris, who passed away January 16, 2012.
Mrs. Morris was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Seymour. She was a homemaker and a receptionist at Voss & Sons Funeral Service for over 25 years.
She is survived by her daughters Deborah (Jim) Maynard, Pamela (Ray) Eakins, grandchildren Ryan (Meredith) Eakins, Reagan Eakins, Brandon Maynard, Brianne Maynard, great granddaughter Elizabeth Jane Maynard,.
Preceded in death by her parents, husband and sister Fredia S. Holland
Family and friends may call at Voss Chapel on Sunday, December 27th from 4 to 7 p.m. and on Monday after 9:30 a.m. until time of service.
Funeral Service will be Monday, December 28th at 10:30 a.m. at Voss Chapel, with the Dr. William Bailey and Rev. Bobby Cox, officiating.
Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery.
Memorials may be designated to Parkside Baptist Church of Columbus or Calvary Baptist Church of Seymour.
