Jeanne Marie Berry

Mrs. Jeanne Marie Berry, 90, of Seymour, passed away Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at Lutheran Community Home in Seymour.

Jeanne was born in Portland, Maine on December 22, 1926, the daughter of the late Timothy and Helen Josephine (Robinson) Donahue.

She married Gordon M. Berry, Sr. on September 22, 1956, in Mount Gilead, Ohio, who preceded her in death on March 28, 2009.

She moved to Jackson County with her family in July of 1979. She volunteered with the Hospital Guild and was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.

She is survived by her sons, Gordon M. (Darla) Berry, Jr., Eric L. (Ledeen) Berry and Daniel D. (Fiance Tricia) Berry; and ten grandchildren, Audra, Robert, Timothy, Jenna, Christopher, Megan, Amelia, Joanna, Christian and Jonathan; and five great-grandchildren, Coleman, Alanna, Daniel, Zoey, and Killian.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; two brothers and three sisters.

Funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm at Voss and Sons Funeral Service on Saturday, April 29, 2017 with the Reverend Tony Johnson officiating. Burial will take place at Portland, Maine at a later date.

Friends and family may gather at Voss Chapel on Saturday, April 29, 2017 from 10:00 am until the time of the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Lutheran Community Home in care of Voss & Sons Funeral and Crematory Service, Seymour, Indiana.
