My favorite memory of Uncle Pude: Me, Timmy, and our then 8 month old daughter Heather were visiting my in-laws, Charlotte and Jerry Hill. Aunt Nancy and Uncle Pude stopped by to drink coffee. Pude was holding Heather, just making over her. A short time later, Heather was ready to move on to her grandpa's lap, and Pude went to set Heather down, standing her on her feet so she could walk to her grandpa's chair. Heather then walked half way across the kitchen and stopped short in her tracks when she saw me, her dad, and her grandpa and grandma's reaction...She had just taken her first steps by herself! Immediately, she sat down on the floor. Pude couldn't understand what the big deal was. We all shouted, "She just walked by herself for the first time!" He roared with laughter and said,"Well, hell, I thought she already knew how to walk!" It would be another 4 months before Heather started walking! I smile every time I think of that day! Nancy, Patty, Lori, Bradley, Debbie and Kevin, our hearts break for your loss. All our love, Timmy, Suzy and Heather
